eGovernment: how to make it work better for citizens and businesses in EU

Electronic identity is a good example of key enabler for improved and secure electronic communications and transactions. The European Commission's proposed programme of Digital Agenda is an attempt to achieve a real digital single market, capitalising on very fast internet access, and for a sustainable digital society, while building on research and innovation.

The research opportunities on ICT for Governance and Policy Modelling in FP7 Programme will also be addressed.
